You’re looking for some Presentation skills training Edinburgh.
We’ve been delivering courses in the capital for more than 30 years.
Welcome to Pink Elephant Communications.
A team of experienced trainers with almost a century worth of experience.
Here to help boost your confidence.
Improve your delivery.
And sharpen your key messages.
Want to discover what we can do for you and your team?
Read on.
We understand that the world is changing.
But the need to be accomplished presenters remains as strong as ever.
And that’s where we come in.
In the last 12 months, we’ve worked with clients from Leith to London.
And from Mull to Madrid.
Our trainers have backgrounds in presenting at the highest levels.
Bill McFarlan made his career at the BBC over 20 years.
While Marjory Kenny was the head of PR at Edinburgh City Council during the trams debacle.
Colin Stone launched a brand new TV channel and read the breakfast news on Scottish Television.
And Rachael Fulton’s won national awards for her sharp writing.
Each trainer has a wealth of insight into what makes a good presenter.
And they’re here to help you and your team.
So, what can you expect from our presentations skills training Edinburgh?
We have a clear goal for each and every course we run.
For you to feel more confident when you leave than when you first arrived.
(We’ve run more than 4,000 courses in 25 countries, by the way.)
Presenting can be daunting.
But our trainers will put you at ease by taking you through our Golden Rules of Communication.
These five rules will form the foundation of each and every presentation you make.
After that, it’s over to you for a test run.
You’ll have some preparation time to come up with a 3-minute pitch or presentation.
We’ll record it.
And then watch each presentation back as a group.
Why?
Because it gives you a chance to see for yourself how you come across.
Instead of being left with the impression of how it felt at the time.
Our trainers Bill & Colin know the benefit of watching back their performances.
Due to their careers in television.
It’s difficult to do at the beginning.
But being able to analyse what went well in our own presentations is a great tool to have.
Once we take a lunch break, we’ll dive into body language.
Plus we’ll discuss pace, tone and volume.
As well as your use of hands.
And the most important part?
You’ll have fun.
This is an easy question.
Wherever works best for you and your team.
In our changing world, that may mean a virtual session.
Run using Zoom, Skype, Webex or Microsoft Teams.
But perhaps you want the real deal in person.
You’ve searched for presentation skills training Edinburgh, after all.
In the last year we’ve run sessions at Ocean Terminal and Waverley Station.
So it’s up to you.
We’ll go wherever the work takes us.
