Ever wondered how the experts control a room?
As UK Press Officer for Ryanair for twenty years and a playwright for even longer, Alan has experienced it all.
Introducing 17-second pauses into his speeches, planting dummies in the audience, and avoiding Powerpoint altogether for a full day’s speaking.
Alan will hold his presenting Masterclass with you, in which he’ll share with you:
– Embracing your nerves
– Telling a story
– Banishing jargon
– Getting straight to the point
– Finishing with a clear Call to Action
– Holding the attention of your colleagues
– Owning a stage through positive body language
– Making use of pace and pauses to exert influence
He’ll also talk you through our renowned Golden Rules of Communication, helping you to easily structure and write every future presentation you give.
You’ll have an opportunity to present on your topic with feedback, before putting each of your new skills into action.
Tea, coffee and lunch are provided, as well as your A5 workbook summarising all of the above.
The course will run from 0900-1330/1530 on Friday 8th December at Lochinch House.
Places are limited to just three – so email us now to book your place.

Having recently benefited from media training with Pink Elephant, I can fully recommend their services. Andrew and Marjory were engaging tutors who made the day both educational and fun for us all. Practising the art of avoiding Pink Elephants is something I now practice daily thanks to their training! Overall a high-energy, thought-provoking day.
Aileen Boyle, Managing Director, Braemar Finance
I have attended many training courses throughout my long career but this was definitely one of the very best. Pink Elephant Communications were well prepared having researched our business and were confident and assured in their knowledge and experience and provided insightful feedback and good coaching throughout the day. I was impressed from the outset […]

I really enjoyed the session. Lots of relatable stories that have stayed with me and made me aware of how much more impactful I can be by following some basic principles.

Some media trainers knock you down…and leave you down. Our media coaches show you how to deal with each knock…and still win through. So you have the presentation skills to perform – with confidence.
